Shane's Farewell

Shane's farewell was on Sunday and this is the only picture that I took all day:( The whole family came over for Grandma's delicious and famous mexican food and friends came over for dessert. We took this pic of us siblings as we were leaving to go back to Phoenix.

I love Eric's fam!

We went to Tucson this weekend and Eric's cousin's decided to throw a Cousin's 80s Bowling Night for Tori's bday and because Shane is leaving next week...SOOOO AMAZING! If anyone knows me well, it's sad to say, but you don't have to try to convince me to dress up:) We had a blast and I have to admit that I am seriously contemplating wearing a fanny pack all of the time...it just makes sense!

Shane, Eric and I had 80s music on the entire time on our way to the bowling alley. They were dancing the entire way there, those 2 are hysterical!!!

Shane is leaving soon!

Thursday night Shane went through the temple for the first time. It was so exciting and we are so proud of him! Eric, Meghan and I met up with Rod, Diane and Shane. Grandma and Grandpa Reay, and Rich and Heather Johnson, some really good family friends came up from Tucson as well. After, we went to CPK for some delish dinner. It was a fun and exciting night!

I Am A Horrible Mother...

So I just have to share this traumatic experience that happened...
Yesterday I was just doing stuff around the house, cleaning, laundry, etc. I was in the laundry room and took the clothes out of the dryer and then I got distracted. About a minute later I was walking past the dryer and shut it on my way to our bedroom where I was folding laundry and getting ready for the day. About AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER(!!!), I was getting ready to head out to the grocery store and decided to check our pantry that is right next to our laundry to see if we needed certain things from the store. All of the sudden I heard our cat Sofi meowing a really sad meow. (She is a vocal cat, but she has different meows, and this was not a happy one) It sounded like it was coming from the washer, (which I left open for the first time ever! We usually always have to keep things shut so she doesn't get into them.) so I ran over to it and she wasn't there, then I checked behind the washer to see if the fell and got stuck, but she wasn't there either, it felt like when baby Jessica was stuck in that well back in the 80s, does anyone remember that?!?! Haha, it was an echoing meow, but I couldn't find the source. Then I heard that poor meow again and it sounded like it was coming from the dryer....OH NO!!!!!!...Oh yes! My poor cat was sitting in that horrible, stuffy, metal cylinder of death:( I felt so bad, she must have jumped in when I wasn't looking and I shut her in when I was walking by. I felt so bad!!! So I quickly took her out and tried to make it up to her by giving her a few treats and some nice fresh cold water. Anyways, I was traumatized because I just thought of how bad I am going to feel if I ever doing something stupid like that when I have children...of course, not putting them in the dryer, but something traumatic like that. Poor Sofi!

So I have been so bad at remembering to take pictures lately. (Must be that summer heat!) We have been to the Salt River, to Tucson, we took family pictures with Eric's fam, and I went to California for 5 days, but I didn't take a single picture:( I am so bummed.
I did do some crafts last week though:) Here are some pics...

I made this for my friend Katie's little girl, Brighton.

Here are some of the onesies that I decorated.
