Sammie's "Sweet" Sixteen!

This past weekend Eric and I went down to Tucson for Sammie's Sweet 16 Birthday Party. It was so cute! It was a "sweet" theme so there was candy and colorful decorations everywhere! My favorite part was that we had 16 huge cupcakes with candy on them. My favorite was this Yellow Frosting w/ Lemon Heads on top. So adorable! They had a huge screen set up so the kids could play dance dance revolution and a huge inflated obstacle course...that was a workout!!!

Britt's Bridal Shower

My best friend Brittny is getting married in May so her sister Court (my other best friend) and I decided to throw her a lingerie shower. I am very big on themes, so everything was in black, white and purple for her party. Here are her invitations that I made.

Easter Weekend!!!

Eric and I drove to Cali for Easter to visit my fam. We love to spend time with them, and had a blast, even though it was only for 2 days. We love to play games, especially cards, here is a pic of the group getting ready for an intense game. Also, here is my sweet mom Sue, she wanted me to take a picture of her, because her hair is FINALLY growing back, she is so cute!!!

The Camera Timer

We decided to have a pajama movie party at Thomas' house, and to start the party off right by setting the camera up and putting it on timer. When it comes time for the camera to take the picture, we all just run in and improvise...here are a few...

Cirque

Eric surprised me with tickets to what we thought was Cirque du Soleil, but turned out to be an imitation of that. It was still super cool, but just not as good as the original. I forgot to bring my camera to the show, but here is a picture of us before we left our apartment. We set it up on timer and this is a pic of us running to jump in so we would be in the shot.

Rustler's Rooste

We went to this restaurant that is near our house. It looks fancy...it's on top of a huge hill that overlooks the city and the parking lot is always full. Little did we know that it was going to be such an adventure! We pulled up and all of the sudden it smelled like cow-hmm, that's weird, there was a corral with a LARGE steer chilling right by the front door. The restaurant is 2 stories high and you enter on the 2nd floor, they sit everyone on the first floor, so you have 2 options of getting down there: the stairs or a slide...yes, a slide! What the heck?!? We were laughing so hard. There was quite a diverse group of patrons there as well, on one side of us sat a motorcycle gang (leather chaps and all) and the other was a nicely dressed group of elderly couples. The food was super good, we would definitely go back! If anyone is ever in the Phoenix area, I recommend stopping by this little gem for a bite to eat.
